Dear Inforwarding Member,

Due to the enormous response of the Airfreight Rate Database (AFRA) presentations in March and April, we will again organize AFRA sessions in June. Herewith we would like to take the opportunity to to invite you to one of these presentations.

We will be running presentations on Tuesday 14th and Wednesday 15th June at Jury’s Inn Heathrow Hotel, Eastern Perimeter Road, Hatton Cross, Hounslow.  (Sessions for Airlines and GSA’s only 10.00-12.00; Sessions for Freight Forwarders only 14.00-16.00).

During the presentations we will give an overview of the on-line airfreight rate database (www.airfreightrates.aero) and introduce the key features and benefits from either an Airline and GSA or Freight Forwarder viewpoint.

The on-line airfreight rate database (in short: AFRA) is an Inforwarding initiative and has been operational in multiple European countries since the beginning of 2003. AFRA makes air freight rates instantly available to users via the internet and e-mail. Rates can be updated on-line by the airlines and forwarders via a secure connection, resulting in a real-time display of valid rates and a minimal chance of irregularities.
